First Russell made us work on the topic of VLE (Virtual Learning Environments) in groups and answer some questions.Then he showed us a video about VLE.

Then he introduced us to edmodo. We logged on as students and Russell showed us a few things:
- reply
- post
- polls
- quizzes
- assignment
- folders
- tracking
We then logged on as teachers and got started.
In the afternoon Anja had her presentation.
2 New Technology
edmodo
Edmodo is a repository that is set up like Facebook with posts, likes, answers and comments. It offers most tools that we also have on ILIAS. But it looks much nicer.
3 Ideas
- Use youtube channel to produce videos (interviews, FCE speaking tests), upload to a shared folder and then encourage group feedback.
- Video is a must, also on your mobile device
- Make sure you can link all your devices (google!)
